Mission Statement

The mission of the Valley Sanitary District is to collect, treat, and reuse wastewater in a safe and cost effective manner as prescribed by state and federal law. The District is dedicated to: maintaining a high standard of operations and maintenance; forward thinking in planning for facility and operational needs, and achieving maximum cost efficiency and effectiveness. The District board and staff are dedicated to having the District be a positive asset to the community. 




NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT appointment will be made as prescribed by Government Code § 1780 

by the Board of Directors of said district.

The position to be filled is a 4-year term ending December 6, 2020.

In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Director Merritt Wiseman, of the District Board of Directors.

Merritt had served on the District Board for many years, and was a strong advocate for the District, staff, and our mission.

He was also extremely active in numerous civic organizations, such as Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Volunteers in Medicine, Elks, Southwest Arts Festival, and many more.


District closure

The District will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2019 in observance of President's Day.
