About the General Manager
Beverli Marshall joined the Valley Sanitary District family as of June 17, 2019. She brings with her a passion for the environment as well as 10 years of experience in the wastewater industry, most recently as the General Manager of the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside, a joint powers authority in the San Francisco Bay Area. Beverli has a B.A. in Sociology, an M.P.A., and over 20 years of experience managing public programs, services, and agencies. She specifically looks forward to partnering with other local agencies to develop and implement a VSD water reclamation program to benefit Indio and its residents and the greater Coachella Valley.
The General Manager is appointed by the Board of Directors and serves at the pleasure of the Board.
The General Manager is responsible for all District operations, staff, regulatory, staffing, public information, financial and fiscal matters.
