Laboratory

Responsibilities

The Laboratory at the Valley Sanitary District is responsible for the sampling, collection, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting of the quality of the wastewater treatment process. The Laboratory reports its findings to the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, the California Department of Health and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Valley Sanitary District also uses outside laboratories, for the testing of more complex water quality requirements.
