Valley Sanitary District is a California Special District governed by a locally elected Board of Directors. The District was founded in 1925 and is governed by the California Sanitary Act of 1923. The District believes in environmental stewardship and is regulated by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board — Colorado Region and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
