IPS Gantry Crane Replacement 

Valley Sanitary District is moving forward with the Influent Pump Station (IPS) Gantry Replacement Project to improve the safety, reliability, and maintainability of one of the District's most critical facilities. The new gantry crane will provide maintenance crews with a safer and more efficient way to remove, inspect, and service heavy equipment at the Influent Pump Station, where wastewater first enters the treatment plant. 

The project design has been completed and is expected to be released for competitive bids by September 2026. Replacing the existing gantry crane will improve maintenance operations, reduce downtime during equipment repairs, and help ensure the continued reliable performance of the IPS.
